Course Objectives :
After completing this course the student should be able to:
- Present the functions uses and capabilities of the C10000 series router
- Define the various leased-line access architectures that use the Cisco 10000 series
- Demonstrate a functional understanding of the C10000 series hardware components, their interconnection, dependencies and features
- Provide a functional description of the PRE and PXF including their architecture, header forwarding and packet processing
- Use PXF and Cisco IOS commands to track and monitor system traffic
- Describe and verify the operation of PRE redundancy on the Cisco 10000 series router
- Configure clear channel and channelized interfaces in T3, T1, E1 SONET and SDH environments
- Configure and verify the operation of hierarchical and regular QoS policies on the Cisco 10000 series route
Course Content :
The course will focus on the customer's use of a high density aggregation router, the hardware, and software components developed to meet that need. Practical in-depth, hands-on exercises are structured to provide students with the skills required to install, configure and troubleshoot the C10000 series router.
